Bahrain's Ambassador to Cairo meets MP Al-Saloum and discusses joint cooperation

During a working visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt

Her Excellency Ambassador Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States, received His Excellency Mr. Ahmed Sabah Al-Saloum, Member of the Council of Representatives, on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at the embassy headquarters in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.
During the meeting, Zainal expressed her congratulations to him on his recent victory in the position of Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the Financial and Economic Committee of the Assembly 2024-2025, stressing that the high status and great confidence that Bahraini parliamentary diplomacy has gained in regional and international forums is the result of the directives and care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, may God protect him and preserve him, and the support and assistance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, may God protect him.
During the meeting, friendly talks were exchanged and views on many topics were reviewed.
For his part, His Excellency MP Al-Saloum expressed his happiness to meet Her Excellency the Ambassador, expressing his congratulations on her new position and the trust that His Majesty the King has placed in her. Al-Saloum, in his capacity as Chairman of the Bahrain Society for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, said that there are many aspects of trade and investment cooperation that the embassy and the society can contribute to achieving with the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt in the coming period, and some proposals for constructive cooperation between the two brotherly countries in this regard are already being studied and their details will be announced in the near future. It is worth noting that His Excellency MP Al-Saloum paid a working visit to the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt that lasted only 3 days, during which he attended the 116th meeting of the Arab Economic Unity Council in his capacity as Chairman of the Arab Union for Trade Facilitation and Risk Management, and the meeting of the Arab Parliament to discuss the development of the Palestinian issue in his capacity as Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
