Who Are We

The Arab Union Trade and Risk Facilitation was established in 2021

under the umbrella of the Council of Arab Economic Unity. Founded in January 2020, we are headquartered in Manama, Bahrain, with a mission to enhance trade facilitation and risk management across the Arab region

Objectives

Our goals and solutions

The Union works to achieve the general goals for which it was established, through the following specializations:

Facilitating and supporting legitimate trade outlets and combating various forms of illegal trade

Cooperating, coordinating and building strategic partnerships with the public and private sectors to increase the level of security and facilitate business operations

Developing training programs and holding seminars and conferences on trade security and facilitation frameworks and standards

Solutions provided by the Union

The Union works to provide a set of solutions that suit all companies in the Arab world

The Union works to develop national laws and legislation in Arab countries in accordance with international standards in securing and facilitating intra-regional trade, in addition to international agreements and treaties related to commercial activity. This ensures the benefit and protection of union members
